Women’s Golf Championship

Dumb question time, if you're the Oregon golfer why do you concede? You never know what will happen.
I don't know anything about anything, and didn't even watch the darn game, but this is what espn said:

Oregon and Northwestern each won two matches. In the last one, Lee was 2 up with two to play when she three-putted from 35 feet to lose the 17th. Both were able to reach the par-5 18th in two with the tee moved forward. Romero went long into a bunker, facing a downhill shot. She conceded the match after two tries getting out of the bunker with a delicate shot.
From the wrap up video, it looks like she waited until Lee got onto the green before conceding. I assume if Lee had also hit the bunker, the game would have continued.

I agree she conceded prematurely. Although it was not obvious but Lee's lob was to an uphill position. She hit a soft lob to 15' above the hole but faced a very fast downhill putt . Romero then faced a delicate, severely downhill bunker shot that she left in the bunker twice.
Romero should have tried her 5th shot with a remote chance of holing it or at possibly getting up and down, forcing Lee to 2 putt from above the hole.
Lee's shot from a tight lie at least put the pressure on Romero , whose shot was even more difficult than Lee's
