Great game today. Deary almost got a triple double, missing by 1 assist! Two in a row with a depleted line-up shows guts. Hope this gets them into the NIT.

Good win to be sure. Great defense and rebounding helped them hold Minny off. A cold shooting finish by Minnesota down the stretch helped seal the deal.

I wonder if this clinches the WNIT?

But just keep winning, ladies! Why not win them all? Throw the season out the window.

Hopefully Maggie Lyons can come back tomorrow and give them more depth. She's also a great player. Meanwhile, nice having the freshman/sophs getting more experience with the injuries.

Would be a good season to throw out the window. Will be tough to win without Maggie, though, and she looked no closer to playing today.

Two keys to the win today:

1) Deary/Inman's D on Bannum was 10x better than it was in the first two games. We just hounded her all over the court and made the other players for Minny beat us. They couldn't.
2) Allie Tuttle-- When Pallas got into deep foul trouble, without Maggie, I truly thought this game was over. But Allie FINALLY played like a big for the first time all season, to the point where Pallas could come back well rested in crunch time to close out the game. Critical, critical minutes from Allie.

Good to see them having a nice run in the conference tournament at the end of a tough season...also, they kept Rachel Banham under 60 points today...that helped.

Based on this game, I feel good about the 'Cats chance to upend Indiana.

Agree. Excellent game to watch. The women were very clutch down the stretch (especially), just hammering down FT after FT and getting rebounds to maintain possessions and run the clock down.

But I WAS pretty concerned that coach didn’t get Pallas back in the game until very late. Had this feeling that he was putting too much on Tuttle --- but, hey, it worked out

It was a nice win for the women and must have been satisfying after all the publicity in the media about Banham ringing up 60 on them.
