For what it's worth, 2004 was the year Northwestern beat Ohio State.
No. The most important hire in the stadium project is the agency that will be booking the event entertainment. Demand for football is well-established and small. Without fielding a consistently winning team, something that in the NIL era and the expanded B1G is effectively impossible for NU, game tickets will always generate but peanuts. If this is what NU does, it would be extremely short sighted. It would be detrimental to developing a winning culture and recruiting top notch players. A vicious cycle.
What percentage of revenues is earned from game day operations? I’d imagine that percentage is shrinking with the influx of TV money.
I think NU does give a shit on what color shirt the fans wear. The problem is the they need to pay more money to talented marketing and sales professionals that can develop an actual successful business model instead of being cheap and hiring fresh faced inexperienced kids.
Is it possible that nu bkb will go to 3 forwards around 6'8" and 2 guards to start and play most of minutes in coming seasons??
Broken bone in his foot? Not good......'(They) were honest with me through the whole process.' Jeffersonville's Tre Singleton commits to Big Ten basketball program.

I completely agree. Admissions needs to allow athletics to play the new transfer game or get out of the P5.Losing every year doesn’t impress me either. Either play the game or get out.
We lose both Big Matt and Fitzmorris next year. With three commits and five graduating, I think at least one of the remaining two spots needs to be a near 7 footer to pair with Hunger. Is it possible that nu bkb will go to 3 forwards around 6'8" and 2 guards to start and play most of minutes in coming seasons??
They will lose every year if they operate as if it’s 2004. They still have a decent nucleus of players, wait until they go.First, NU does not lose every year. Second, Braun and the assistant coaches need time build a consistent winner. Third, this season isn't over yet. They were, after all, two and three at this time last year. Fourth, it is at least conceivable that some degree of sanity will return to college football. Fifth, Northwester needs to do what it does best, attract athletes that also want an education. To paraphrase Coach Braun, throwing vast amounts of money after mercenaries every year is not what will make NU successful in the long run. Developing character will.
None of it is free but the combination of having to get multiple packages just to watch is getting ridiculous. Worse is that many of those games are away games. It is not just one group reaching into our pockets, it is multiple. Plus having to make arrangements for yet another. It is abuse of the fansNot surprised you want everything for free!
