Oh I didn't even realize they had a bye, that's some bullshit. Reminds me of a season about 10 years ago when we faced 3 teams coming off byes in one season.Having to play a team off a bye at their place while you're on short rest is absolute shenanigans. Absolute garbage.
Rather than moving to North Carolina, I have stayed in Minnesota to wait for North Carolina to move here. Currently it's somewhere along I65 south of Chicago.I wish we had a "Cat 5" defense. That would be something.
Seriously, a hot Gulf is bad news for the entire Southeast. Suddenly, the Heartland doesn't seem so bad.
Just got in my home after 18 month rebuild from Ian. Got flooded by Helene (minor). Now nervously watch this storm. I have more gray hair these days.
There were many NU fans at some point?Sure they're annoying, but what were many NU fans like in 1995?
There's a reason I haven't casually made friends with many stranger NU fans...Sure they're annoying, but what were many NU fans like in 1995?
I agree but the costs of moving the segment from Solana Beach/Del Mar inland is going to be brutal no matter what option is chosen. Costly tunneling will be involved and the communities and traffic circulation impacted by the construction will disrupting for years. Good chance the bluffs will collapse before the project is completed to move the tracks. Bluff erosion in the San Clemente area has already disrupted the line for weeks. The bullet train is a waste. I’m a rail fan but this bullet train project needs a quick demise. There are already huge cost overruns. That would be a much better investment than that knucklehead bullet train to nowhere.
It loses money, but the boatload is debatable. There’s a whole lot of studio accounting going on, and the NBAs response is “trust me, bro.”The WNBA loses a boatload of money annually
I wanted to vote for Rankin, as he's one of my all-time favorites, but I knew it wouldn't be him. Also, there is a character actor named Kevin Rankin, and last time I saw the basketball player at a tailgate, I dorkily yelled out, "loved you in Breaking Bad!"Pete Nance had a very strong senior year in 2021-22 at Northwestern (on the offensive end).
He shot 49.7% overall, highlighted by a phenomenal 45.2% from outside the 3 point arc.
No one has voted for him so far.
Kevin Rankin had an excellent career at Northwestern, starting for 4 years.
As a junior in 1992-93, he shot 52.3% from the floor, playing 33 minutes a night, averaging 15.3 points and 8.3 rebounds per game.
He is 10th on the NU career scoring list and 2nd in career rebounds.
He may have been the slowest Northwestern player of the modern era, especially when he was tired.
