Don't know the story of Kansas's first name, but she is gonna be a real good one when all is said and done.
Those gals just don't give up.
NU has just about clinched the regular season B1G title, with just 3 games remaining against mediocre Rutgers. 'Cats are 17-2, with a sweep over 3rd place Minny. Oddly, they didn't play second place Indy this year. This is a heck of a good team.
The Cats are now rated #6 in the new NCAA softball rankings issued today (May 1)
with that home record, staying in the top 8 seeds will be important come tournament time.
NU moves up to #16. NU has played #1, 2, 4, 6, 11, 13 and 14. Heck of a OOC schedule.

What is even more impressive is that number of top 25 victories and one-run losses they have had: beat Texas, Auburn twice, Louisville twice, and one-run losses to Oklahoma, Oregon, and UCLA.
