Is our non conference schedule for next year going to have higher ranked teams? So we have higher strength of schedule etc? Just curious if anyone knows!

Schedules normally aren't finalized until a few months before the season starts. We definitely got unlucky with DePaul and Arizona State being absolute garbage, and the loss of the B1G-ACC challenge hurts too. Hopefully CCC is able to schedule up a bit so we don't end up with a terrible non conference schedule again next year.Is our non conference schedule for next year going to have higher ranked teams? Football you just have to win 6 FBS games. The FB team had 8 wins and a NEGATIVE point differential. A similar basketball team (5th in conference with a winning B1G record but neg point differential) would have had a NET ranking of about 90 and we'd be looking at NIT bracketsThis is a football way of thinking. You can service just as much benefit from playing a soft schedule like NU did, but if you do that you have to look like a good team and blow out the pipsqueaks.

Right, and how did we do non con in FB? Lost to a team with a pulse, tried to lose to an FCS team and did have a good margin of victory against UTEP, roughly the equivalent of a mediocre MAC bball team. Just happy FB looks at wins and lossesWe’re talking about noncon strength of schedule
