Now that the season is more than half over it is interesting to gauge how difficult a schedule the Wildcats have played. NU's opponents are a combined 37-21 for an overall win percentage of 63.8%.

However, when games against NU are excluded the combined record of NU's opponents is 35-15 for a 70.0% winning percentage. As a side note: 37.5% of NU's opponents are undefeated excluding their NU games (Stanford, Duke & Iowa).

Being 6-2 with an inexperienced QB facing this level of competition is very encouraging.

Hope the Cats can win 2-4 more games in the regular season.

Go Cats!!!

PS: The combined records of our last four opponents are 17-13 (56.7%), but only Purdue is below .500.

Each of the next 4 games are winnable as PSU, Wisc and UI have winning records but haven't beaten anyone, and all their games I've watched they have not dominated in any way. Same could be said of us, but we have no reason to believe we should definitely lose any of the games including Wisky.

Here is another interesting fact: four of the eight teams we have played are currently ranked: Stanford, Michigan, Iowa, and Duke.
