40 years ago, Miami OH was the last loss of "The Streak"

Phatcat, you're making me feel really old. Where did 40 years go? It would be a lot of fun to be 21yo college senior again, just for a week or two.
I was at the game. What I remember most were Miami fans mocking our "cat" (we used to have a mountain lion or some other cat in cage which was released when we scored). They were going up to the cat after the game yelling "your team sucks". Real high IQ stuff.
And Randy Walker’s first game at NU, where his former Miami OH kids completely dominated us. I think it was 28-0.
28-3. And don't forget Ben Roethlisberger rolling into Ryan Field in 2003 and beating our asses 44-14.
We are 3-6 all-time against Miami (OH). We have a better record (2-2) against Miami (FL)!
