Here are some of my notes from working the thumbs with various prospects the last couple days...
- Three-star tackle Jeffrey Persi Days there is nothing new to report about Northwestern. He said that he’s done with unofficial visits. He has official visits set to USC and Michigan right now, and that’s it. I was initially optimistic about Persi, but the more time passes, the less confident I feel.
- Superback prospect Marshall Lang is looking forward to Coach McGarigle going down to Cincy St. Xavier see him workout the first week of May. He has yet to hear from NU about whether they might be taking a second superback in this class. He continues to pick up lower level offers.
- I confirmed that four-star WR Collin Sullivan will take his official visit to NU on May 17-19, along with a slew of other big NU targets, as well as the 2020 commits. That’s going to be a helluva weekend.
