Tennessee is the top pick in most bowl confidence pools...earlier today on ESPN radio, analysts apparently said they thought Tennessee is better than Sparty (context: question was asked if Sparty will be Bama's toughest opponent all season...they said UT and Ole Miss are better). The line had dropped only a half point, from +9 to 8.5.
Strangely, as a fan I feel much more calm about this bowl game than I have any other. Not sure if it's because we have now have a bowl win from this century under our belt, or if I'm not particularly bothered by UT or its fanbase, or if I've resigned to a loss, or if I just expect NU to prove that defense actually does win games, or if I'm getting older and just don't get as tightly wound about this stuff as I once did, or what...just curious what other thoughts are floating around, since this hasn't actually been a topic of conversation on the main board lately...
