Yes. Was going to say. He went to the locker room for 5 minutes of real time but came back out with his jersey on, no brace, etc. IIRC, when Ty got hurt against Nebraska last year he changed into sweats and was clearly limping. Didn’t see that from Leach fwiw.He walked back to the bench under his own power so I am going to be optomistic. Amazing how this team held on to win without him in there.
I would presume he will get an MRI tomorrow, hopefully no major issues but I’m concerned.Yes. Was going to say. I’m incredibly concerned and will be lighting several candles tonight in hopes it was just a knee twist or at worst some kind of sprain that causes him to miss little time.I would presume he will get an MRI tomorrow, hopefully no major issues but I’m concerned.
That was my first reaction too with how his leg was planted and his knee being pushed inward. The way it buckled with the plant, I thought he had blown his ACL. Generally encouraging that he walked off (ginergly) on his own, but a lot of guys walk off the field after tearing an ACL. Also a good sign that he stayed on the bench.
Still, an ACL tear would not shock me.
Hard to believe that there wouldn’t be some kind of meniscus injury or at least mild ligament type injury given how he tentative he was after the injury. Maybe he was just being super cautious after the injury. Let’s hope for good news. That was my first reaction too with how his leg was planted and his knee being pushed inward.
I would expect that we will hear nothing via official channels until about 9:20pm Saturday night.Leach injury—> will prob hear nothing until a couple hours before the next game, that seems like how NU does it?
Yeah, I just accept that that dude knows things.Guru just posted a sad face on X. Not good…
I am heartened by all his posts about a Brooks waiver.Yeah, I just accept that that dude knows things.
In my knee experiences (two surgeries) during athletic event if you sustain an injury the normal procedure is to wrap and ice it to control swelling. Although it did not look good when it happened, Jalen was walking OK and nothing was done in the locker room to mitigate the potential swelling. I am going to be optimistic at this point. Any Drs. out there disagree with my thinking? He walked back to the bench under his own power so I am going to be optomistic. Amazing how this team held on to win without him in there.
Legit… didn’t that guy pass away? I remember his crazy ass from back in the day lolAre we sure that isn't a Turk burner account?
He kind of reminds me of that dude who used to post on here under the Haywood Jablowme handle. That dude knew what was going on the last few years of the Carmody era, and the first couple of years that Collins was here.Yeah, I just accept that that dude knows things.
He thinks barnheizer is coming back next year. Loses his credibility right there. He kind of reminds me of that dude who used to post on here under the Haywood Jablowme handle. Turk is alive and well and living off the flat of the land.Legit… didn’t that guy pass away? I remember his crazy ass from back in the day lol
Turk is in Florida, where many people go to spend their final years
He also knew that Barnhizer reinjjred foot and was out for the season which appears to have been correct. Confirmed by collins before another talk. The man has a source! He thinks barnheizer is coming back next year. Loses his credibility right there.
