Are the Lions going to win the NFC North?

Keep dreaming is all I can say. Season and playoffs will prove who is right. I am willing to eat crow if wrong. Max 1 playoff win for Lions. Willing to put money on that. Always a risk to lose but smart money on that.
Did anyone ever take this bet?

The question appears to be if Campbell the Gamble only gets the team from point C to point B? Do they need him to settle down once they out talent teams? I don’t think they out talent playoff teams right now.
Campbell's tendency to go for it on fourth down is notable but far from the most valuable contribution he makes as a coach. The number of coaches whom you could label as Point B to Point A guys, normalizing for talent and luck, is very short. Campbell may or may not be that guy, but if he can be Mike Tomlin, as far as I'm concerned give him a lifetime contract.

As much as I wanted the Lions to win that one, I don't think they were the better team. The Lions hit a couple home runs in that first half, but SanFran clearly had the better defense. The adjustments they made in the second half pretty much shut Detroit down. The Lions did have the better QB and that is why I think Kansas City is going to beat the Niners pretty convincingly in two weeks. I still don't trust Brock Purdy.
Lions need to draft some corners

Lions at Texans on Sunday night. Should be a fun game. The Lions are currently favored by four, which sounds about right. The Texans offense has been surprisingly mediocre this season. Hopefully Nico Collins is back on Sunday.

Well at least the Texans covered the spread. 🤢

Nice comeback win by the Lions, despite Goff's five INTs. Winners make plays when it matters, and the Lions did just that.

The Texans failed to score in the second half. Stroud floated a ball on what should have been an easy TD, and it resulted in a INT. That play changed the game. What could have been a 17 point lead instead kept the Lions hopes alive.

Regardless of outcome, it was an entertaining game. Good luck to the Lions the rest of the way. Perhaps this is the year they finally make the Super Bowl.

Amon-Ra St. Brown is open all the time, as anyone who watches the Lions knows, and anyone who looks at stats can infer.

But if you’re watching today, look for #14 on every play. He never takes one off. He is just a ferocious blocker — sometimes, the Lions will motion him toward the line, and he’ll immediately sprint to take on a third or second-level defender, just in case a run or screen makes it that way.

He is just electrifying, whether a pass or a run or a trick play or a screen or whatever. When he’s a decoy, he’s a hard-ass decoy.

Go Bears!

Seems inevitable at this point that the Super Bowl will be the Lions or Eagles against the Chiefs or Bills, but I guess that's why they play the games.

Lions injuries are adding up, the question is if they can compensate for the losses.

In any case, it does sound like there are a lot of Lions fans at the game today.

Who would imagine it would all come down to this game. Home field for the playoffs and the division.

I was at this game last night. Great atmosphere. Thought to be possibly the biggest Lions home game in modern history. The stakes were so big - talk about the college playoff system, how do you have two 14-2 teams meet, tied for the best record in NFC, and the loser gets bumped from 1 seed, bye, home field advantage to 5 seed and playing wildcard round on the road? That needs to be rethought.
