Per CBS Sports story, Marshall is opting out of its bowl game after losing 25 players to the portal. Looks all all the 6-6 teams are already scheduled, so they go to the 5-7 list.

I assume this means had Cats finished 5-7, they could have continued practicing, because of just such a circumstance?

If so, I say again...f'ing Duke.

Thank God this season is over. I couldn’t stomach one more game after what I saw from some of these guys. Getting our ass kicked by Army doesn’t do anything for me, especially when we need at least a half dozen new starters from the portal,
