PSU: actually competed much better than I thought they would based on Franklin history. Very good game.

SMU Clemson game was also outstanding, too bad SMU flubbed it away by not covering well on the kickoff. They should’ve gone for 2.

It was? You must not be watching a lot of football. Now the Georgia-Georgia Tech game from a week ago, that was one of the best. Heck, the SMU-Clemson was a better game just yesterday.

I was struck by how small Oregon's skill players were on balance. The receiver who was MVP looked like an excited puppy running around that nobody could catch. Very impressive. Their running backs also were very quick. I also thought PSU played with a lot of speed but just couldn't quite get there.
