OK not football related, but of B1G note:

In a year when all number one seeds made it to the Sweet 16, it is noteworthy that only one survived to play in the Final Four,

Nice to see a B1G team still has a chance to become the National Champion despite the Big Ten being snubbed by the Committee without having the advantage of getting any number one seeds.

Virginia had a fairly fortunate play at the end of the game, or the B1G would have had two of the Final Four. Edwards played one of the best games in tourney history for the Boilers.

Putting an exclamation point on that Edwards set a new record for total points in 4 Tournament games with 42 of those in his final game to muster MVP honors for only the second time to go to a player on a losing team.
