If you don't want bid thieves, you did pretty well Monday night, as the favorites won everywhere there was any question (though the St. Mary's-BYU game isn't over yet).

On Tuesday, there are nine conferences in action. Seven of them (Big Sky, Horizon, MAC, MEAC, NEC, Summit, and SWAC) are straight-up one-bid conferences. Though a few of those conferences will name a champ Tuesday, none of them are where you'd worry about bid thieves.

The WCC final is Tuesday, and if St. Mary's beats BYU Monday, there's no bid thief there, as both Gonzaga and St. Mary's are locks for the NCAAs.

The remaining conference is the best one, the ACC, who could get 10 or 11 bids. Three games on the schedule: Wake Forest vs. Boston College, Clemson vs. NC State, Pittsburgh vs. Georgia Tech. Of that six, Wake Forest is close to safely in, but Boston College would be a terrible loss. Maybe not enough to knock them out, but enough to push them down a few notches. Clemson probably can play its way into the NCAAs by losing in the ACC final (Bid Thief Alert!), so root for N.C. State. The ACC is just too good, so if any of these teams make a strong run through the conference tourney, I'd be shocked.
