Why will it be stressful for those fan bases/ Aren't both in now that USC lost?Well, UCLA is up by 22 early in the 2nd half, so I feel pretty good that we're going to be in the BTT. Tomorrow's Nebraska-Iowa game will be extra stressful for those fanbases.
That is not true. Now root for Iowa and Minnesota if they both win we will be ranked 11th
No, USC is in regardless. If Iowa loses they will be 6-14 with everyone else being 7-13 or better. If Nebraska loses, they are out because they lost to Rutgers, Minnesota, Iowa and USC, so they don't have the tiebreaker over any of them. Why will it be stressful for those fan bases/ Aren't both in now that USC lost?
Thanks for the info. That is not true.
If Rutgers and Nebraska win (49.6% chance), we will be the 13th seed facing Nebraska with a matchup against Wisconsin if we win.
If Minnesota and Nebraska win (23.4% chance), we will be the 14th seed facing Minnesota with a matchup against Purdue if we win.
If Rutgers and Iowa win (18.4% chance), we will be the 13th seed facing Minnesota with a matchup against Wisconsin if we win.
If Minnesota and Iowa win (8.6% chance), we will be the 15th seed facing Ohio State with a matchup against Illinois if we win.
I want that 13th seed matchup whether it's Nebraska or Minnesota, so go Rutgers!

I am going by what Smelly wrote in the other thread about this below. That is not true.
How do you figure that? Now root for Iowa and Minnesota if they both win we will be ranked 11th
You might have been looking at the line in that thread where NU beats Maryland.I am going by what Smelly wrote in the other thread about this below.
I predict unlikely since both teams are playing away games. You might have been looking at the line in that thread where NU beats Maryland.
If Iowa and Minnesota win today, NU gets the 15th seed like Cappy said above.
Ah oops! My eye jumped between two lines and i misread. Thanks for the correction! You might have been looking at the line in that thread where NU beats Maryland.

How is that? Now root for Iowa and Minnesota if they both win we will be ranked 11th
I’m assuming we will be 2-4 point favorite vs Minnesota? How is that?
That does not make us ranked 11thI’m assuming we will be 2-4 point favorite vs Minnesota?
I don’t knowCats bracket is brutal. Not like it matters. Was hoping to play Ohio state then the Illini.
This was best case scenario to my mind. Not easy but I think our guys look at that bracket and see a path.First Minnesota. If we win, Wisconsin. If we win, UCLA.
Not an impossible schedule.
Minnesota is much easier opponent than Ohio state. This was best case scenario to my mind. Not easy but I think our guys look at that bracket and see a path.
I just don’t know how significant past tournament performances years ago are in terms of predicting this years game result. I would imagine not really that relevant.Am very happy the cats made the tournament at all and I like the matchup with Minn, although I believe we do very poorly against them in the tournament historically.
Yeah, I'm just trying to temper my expectations.I just don’t know how significant past tournament performances years ago are in terms of predicting this years game result. I would imagine not really that relevant.
I recall almost beating msu maybe with eschmeyer I think, but losing at buzzer or in OT…..We have sucked big time in the BTT. 10-27 all time. Worst winning percentage of
Making the semis (final four) counts as a run in my eyes, so we've had... one. That's it.Just curious, have we ever made a run in this thing? I recall 2017 we made it to Saturday but can’t recall any other successes.
I was at that one, we were ahead by 4 late and gave up the last 6 to lose by 2. Had 2 looks at the end to tie and missed both. MSU won the BTT and made the Final Four.I recall almost beating msu maybe with eschmeyer I think, but losing at buzzer or in OT…..
