Brendan Sullivan enters the transfer portal

Nailed it. That cannot be an oversight. Speaks volumes about his feelings.

After I read your post, you forced me to read the story above and realized that Sullivan is graduating this spring.
Full credit to him. He is free to do whatever he wants.

Hell, it remains possible that he didn't get accepted into NU grad school because the new coaches didn't want... nah I'm not gonna go there.

Northwestern now now has a Masters degree program that admits who the school wants. It is almost impossible to not get admitted to it as far as I know. I could be wrong but this what I was told. It is not exactly "rocks for jocks" like some programs, but it is an easy admit. Again, could be wrong, but that is what I was told.

I think it was smart for NU to establish a Masters program along those lines.

Kellogg has a Masters in Management program and the traditional MBA, so this Masters in Sports Management seems to be outside of Kellogg, which is probably a good thing.

You’re correct, it’s through the School of Professional Studies:

There are actually a fair number of Master’s programs in that School, which typically have more lenient admissions policies than those directly through Kellogg, Medill, etc.:

This looks like an interesting class.......

MSA 406 Sports Public Relations

This course examines the implications and mitigation of crisis and risk in the sports industry, with emphasis placed on managing public relations. Students develop the tools necessary to identify organizational vulnerabilities and to design and implement crisis strategies and communications to prevent these situations, and manage the situations effectively, should they occur. The course pays particular attention to public relations strategies for communication with internal and external constituencies.
