I'm not sure if this has been posted, but this week HBO Real Sports (Tuesday at 9PM central) will have a segment about Chris Collins. Set your DVRs!

I just watched it. Good profile of Chris and Doug, who wore a NU sweatshirt during the interview.

Doug is still clearly emotional about losing the 1972 Olympic gold medal game on a last second basket off a Hail Mary pass, which was eerily similar to the NU play that beat Michigan to make the tourney last season. Doug still seems hurt that he's never been a champion, and it was touching to hear them describe Chris giving him the Olympic gold medal he earned as a coach. It's obviously a very strong bond between father and son.

Now let's beat Georgia Tech!
