Biss comes off as a reasonable individual that weighed the pros and cons and realizes that the old pre-pandemic normal may never come back.
He sees that using concerts as a way of bringing extra people that may not regularly visit Evanston businesses is a net positive. That's basically why he supported that change.

Yes, thanks for sharing. I’ve had the opportunity to interact with Dan Biss a bit before he became the mayor of Evanston. He’s incredibly smart and thoughtful. Generally not the kind of person who usually goes into politics. But definitely the kind of person who makes government more competent and better.
