Former NU FB Player Adam Crum on the forefront of Coronavirus Respone in Alaska

On tonight’s TV news, appearing by video with Alaska’s Governor Dunleavy, former Northwestern football player Adam Crum in his current position as Alaska’s Commissioner for the Department of Health and Social Services set forth the mandates relating to Alaska’s response to the Coronavirus pandemic.

Adam completed his football career at Northwestern in 2007 where he was dubbed “The Alaskan Assasin” for his football prowess.

FWIW, three of the New Covid-19 Travel Mandates announced by Adam Crum today (March 28) included:

Statewide Shelter in Place

Statewide Intrastate Travel Ban

Critical Infrastructure Employees Are Not Subject to Quarantine


Earlier in the week a Mandate was issued requiring all travelers arriving from out of state to remain under self-quarantine for 14 days under penalty of a $25,000 fine and/or one year in jail.

On the late news last night the state's head of Homeland Security was being asked how the imposed 14 day quarantine for arriving travelers at the peril of a $25,000 fine or one year imprisonment was going to be enforced.

Upon retrospect, he should have just shown the TV audience CatManTrue's photo of Northwestern's Adam Crum.

Did he complete med school after NU playing days?? In his ad, he said that he was a businessman. How is he qualified for DHSS in alaska? Just curious. He'd look good in DC eventually as an Alaskan senator/rep! Good to hear he is highly successful after graduating!

Adam went on to Johns Hopkins where he got a post graduate degree in the Public Health field.
