Well he was talking about Lujan, not the D. The offense has put up 6 points and 3 of those were gift wrapped in FG range by an INT.

WOW. We officially have become Purdue, giving up. Well, actually Purdue put up a good fight last night.
A lot of this is on the coaches. They had a very poor game plan on both sides and apparently very poor preparation and inability to focus and discipline the team.
I didn’t “expect victory” today especially with this game being in Ann Arbor, but I expected us to be able to compete and have a chance to beat this very mediocre Michigan offense.

And then we have to play at Wrigley to a audience of primarily Illinois fans and get Trashed by them as well
Michy is not going to ease up like OSU because they have something to prove. Although after this inevitable score they may try to rest all their starters to avoid injury before OSU (they have no prayer, but were giving them irrational exuberance now).
Agree that our offensive coordinator needs to go. Our quarterback never goes out there's no plan for him to escape the pressure built into the play strategy.
Common denominator: horrible OL play. You can’t scheme around that. We just don’t have the hogs up front.
Question - on the last Michigan TD, our middle LB (Uihlein) immediately ran to the left when the ball was snapped, leaving a huge hole in the D that the RB walked right through. Why does the LB do that instead of staying in place and plugging the gap in the line?
THe defense has been the side that has torched this game. It was 10-6 late in the first half and the defense gave up a disaster late TD and then another coming off the full rest of halftime. No excuses of being on the field for those tuddies, just getting steamrolled by a bad offense that still has better athletes.
Yeah I think Wright is taking a redshirt and Hilinski is just enjoying another year of college.
Put in a statue when the Michigan DL is devouring our OL. That sounds like a plan.

Forget it, they're rolling. IT's definitely our QB and OC's fault that our defense gave up a horirble TD drive and gave up another right out of halftime. They were probably tired from Lauschs halftime speech.
The defense and offense, and coaching, have all sucked today. NU football's version of tastes great, less filling.
I’m sorry, but for a guy who is an athlete, Lausch’s reads in the option and RPO game are completely horrible. Like godawful. He makes the wrong reads frequently. These are the simplest reads in modern football, it’s not gonna work like this.
Apparently we're making play calls like we're playing a video game now. All is lost and it's embarrassing.
