Some guys just don’t want to spend 5 or more years in college before they got on with their life. I can assure you he wasn’t pressured into dropping the redshirt. He basically gets an eight game audition to show he belongs. If he fails miserably he eventually drops a level. Red shirting is stupid nowadays. He should have seen a few minutes during the season.

There are people saying (with 100% conviction) that Clayton told Collins he was redshirting, then Clayton told Collins he was willing to play against Washington.
Others assume Collins told Clayton that he should redshirt.
I have no idea which is correct, but it isn't both.

It's interesting how Martinelli scores so much more in the second half than in the first half of the game yesterday being yet another example four points in the first half 19 in the second.

Teams tend to score more in the second half of games as well. We have seen a lot of games where both teams are around or under 25 point and by the end of the game they are in th high 60s or 70s. Seems the nature of things.
