It seems that Georgetown is the last "high profile" basketball program with a HC vacancy. Unless they hire from another high profile program (Texas' HC S.Smart is supposedly a candidate) then this is probably the last place that could potentially offer CCC a job that he may conceivably take. Not saying GU is a better job, but they do have more tradition and MIGHT offer more money.

Anyway,is he being mentioned? What do you think?

For sure a Duke alumn and former coach is in the mix. That's your hint.

Check THIS out.

What's the point of making a post like this? Collins isn't even mentioned in the linked article, yet you seem to think he could/should be connected to pretty much any coaching vacancy that isn't NU.

Dan Dakich on Mike and Mike in the morning threw the name Tommy Amaker on the wall. No basis other than Tommy would be a better candidate than Patrick Ewing. Nothing there. Another wasted post of a myriad of meaningless posts by Silvester the Cat.

Thank you so much for keeping us updated on this subject that is EXTREMELY pertinent to Northwestern basketball.
You're welcome. Lots of posts here about coaching changes elsewhere. I guess the reason is that NU's HC is a finalist (probable winner) of CoY, which makes him certainly attractive to other major programs. So, it makes sense for NU fans to keep an eye on how major coaching searches are going.

However you want to make yourself feel important, man.
