PA's responses are excellent, but I'll echo his comment that nobody is comparing ISU and Miami OH, but rather pointing out the fact both were non conference losses.
When the stated goal of the program is to win a BIG championship, a single defeat prior to conference play (no matter how embarrassing) doesn't ruin an entire season.
