What’s it going to take to get a fair game? I saw Larry Scirotto before the game and that other cue ball clown and said to my family it’s going to be another one of those games. They didn’t disappoint. They had at least five calls that weren’t just wrong but criminally bad. It can’t keep happening game after game. At some point there has to be accountability in this league. What’s it going to take to fix this crap? End rant.

At least tonight some of that crap benefited our guys. I still can't believe Big Matt didn't get T'd up at least once for smacking guys on the head and in the face.

The blocking call on Martinelli where it was a clear charge and on top of that in no way had he started his shot. There was the out of bounds call at a pivotal time right in front of Larry off of Indiana players head and gives them the ball. There were others but it’s just so egregiously bad. I’m glad Collin’s said something tonight. I’ll chip in to pay his fine.

There really seems to be no accountability and it’s just unacceptable for big time college sports. The biggest issues IMO is these guys are too old to be officiating a game this fast. There needs to be some promotion/relegation system for officials.

Yeah, those were absolutely terrible, especially the obvious ball-on-head you could see from the concessions.

Ball off the head was absurd.
Offensive foul miss on Martinelli was brutal.

The refs compounded their brutal calls by prob giving us a makeup call on a missed goaltend which benefited us.

Yes that Larry guy always tries to make the game about him.

They did call basket interference in iu for hanging on the basket while the ball rolled in, which is a call the refs missed a couple games ago.

And they actually showed the replay showing just how wrong the call was, Looked like one of the refs was about to T up Collins,

They don't tend to call the charge in those situations very often these days. Out of 10 times it should be called a charge (in position early, outside of circle, well planted and not moving), only one or two get called as charges. Others get called as blocking fouls

Since I think highly of Robbie Hummel, I'll just point out that he said (about Martinelli's 4th foul)

"If that's not charging, I don't know what charging is."
"Martinelli was set and waiting and he lowers his shoulder and plows right into his chest."

Definitely. Overwhelming majority of charges tend to be push offs now. The classic sacrificing of the body to stand there and get run over is a courageous move that is seldom rewarded for some reason.
