People criticize the NCAA, but one difference between the NCAA and pro-sports is that titles and wins can be retroactively stripped. Some people say that vacating victories from the recent years when the illegal sign stealing operation and recruiting violations won't have an impact in Michigan being able to celebrate Big Ten and national titles. However, I disagree strongly. Just ask all the athletes stripped of a gold medal for failing a drug test or even people stripped of master or PhDs for plagiarizing theses or dissertations.
