I can't believe the Bears lost that game.

I was reminded of the game NU at Nebraska a number of years ago where we lost in a similar manner.. I broke out laughing. Reality is that the Bears did not deserve to win that game and it was a fluke that they were leading, Took a PI penalty of 4th down to give them a shot and the guy did not have to do it
I was at the game and if you are referring to the pass interference penalty on Keenan Allen, that happened right in front of me. first, I don’t believe that was a 4th down play. Secondly, the CB was clearly beaten and that was a TD if he didn’t grab Allen. He had no choice.
4th down. If someone can give me a consistent explanation as to what constitutes pass interference these days I will give an opinion. Otherwise, under the stricter interpretation of the rules from 3-4 years ago, yes, that was a PI.
I am a Skins fan but it is a 60 minute game. Williams was terrific in that fourth quarter and the Bears' defense was good all game long although the Skins worked overtime to not complete touchdowns in the first half. I hadn't seen Williams in a competitive situation until the fourth quarter. Chicago has a good one.

Was it even controversial? The DB stuck his arm out and wrapped it around the WR who was about to run by him as the ball was in the air.
I didn't want to suggest it was controversial. I thought it was PI but I think a lot of what DB's get away with these days is PI. Seeing DB's now with an arm wrapped around a receiver's waste with a no-call is plenty common. I honestly have no idea what the standard is. For example, it use the be that a DB needed to turn his head back to avoid a PI. Now, not certain that standard is even consistent between the pros and college and it certainly isn't consistently enforced.
They had no business winning the Tennessee game, so the luck nets out to zero.

Pretty good draft. Something like 8 HOF's including a couple for the Bears (Covertt and Dent). Overall, a lot of guys on 85 Bears including Gualt, Duerson, Richardson, Thayer and Bortz. And Chris Hinton from NU went to Denver where Elway ended up. HOF QBs such as Elway (#1) , Kelly and Marino. Eason (Ill #15) didn't quite cut it.

This goes way back but I believe there was a Bears loss where Jack Concannon was under center and turned to give a time out sign to the ref. Unfortunately the center hiked the ball, it hit off Jack's leg and literally went straight up about ten feet. A Cardinal (not certain) linebacker crashed through the line and ran for a touchdown as time expired. Probably inaccurate but it makes for a great tale.

Absolutely. Defend each sideline with a 2-deep zone to about 15 yards. 3 guys 25 yards deep. Rush 4.
The Bears lost to the Lions I believe in the late 70s/early 80s when with the lead they attempted a late FG to pad their lead and proceeded to have the blocked FG returned for the winning TD. There is a reason I told my wife we couldn’t leave yet this past Sunday after the Bears went up 15-12 with less than a minute left.
