If we finish 6-1, for sure the NCAA would take us, yes?

based on the team ball I am witnessing, I'd be surprised if we lost to Michigan or Illinois, and maybe we upset Iowa. Then in the BTT, if we go 3-1......then we may go dancing. Or even 2-1 and we go to NIT.

Hey, who would have thought that we would win 4 in a row? So, let's keep dreaming and see how far this rabbit hole goes.

With the latest win, our RPI is 121. The only way we go dancing is if we win the BTT and get the automatic bid.

No. No it would not.

But the NIT, sure, I think it we win 2 of the last 3 in reg season we'd have a good shot at the NIT. Our RPI would be very low, but it IS a selection committee of humans and I'm sure we'd be discussed based on our finish.

Honestly, if we finish .500 or better, we seriously need to consider the CBI if we don't make the NIT. I'd buy in. Experience would help for next year in this case.

No. Not unless we win the BTT. Even with 3 BTT wins, we would not have a 0.500 record in conference But my question is how many wins do we need to get an NIT bid. I would think three more (two regular seasonand1 BTT or1 and2) would get us there for sure and two might if they are in the regular season or 1 and 1but not 2 wins in BTT. Have to have an overall 0.500 record. What do others think?
