So, uh, take a look at the photo at the top of this article which has Robbie Beran dunking violently over a kid in a game in which he scored something like 28. I thought Beran was supposed to be on the skinny side. The kid in the photo has some guns. Hopefully the video clip is here.

Here's an excerpt about his play in a holiday tournament...

Robbie Beran ’19 – Collegiate:
Anybody who may not have known much about the Northwestern commit surely should be talking about him now. Beran played like a top 3 player in Richmond this week. He dominated as a force down low, using his body control to finish with power and recognizing mismatches. His versatility on offense makes it difficult for defenses to determine how to play him; he can hurt opponents both inside and out on the wing. The 6’9” senior showed off his court vision too; a more underrated aspect of his game. Defensively, he came up with more rejections than anyone else, swatting away a combined nine shots in his final two games. After posting 20 points in the semifinals and then exploding for a performance of 28 points, eight rebounds, four assists, and three blocks in the title game, it seemed only right that Beran took home the TDIT MVP trophy.

And this was posted on Jared Jones twitter page which also has a bunch of recent clips of Jones doing extra terrestrial stuff. Looks like Jared is healed up, playing well and excited about coming to NU.

And here's Daniel Bouie going for 29 10 and 5 in a recent game.

Thanks for the writeup. Cook video, too. Am excited about this class and crossing my fingers we get Baldwin and some combination of the other rumored players with interest the following year. It will mean that we have actually arrived as a power.

One and done? (ducks)
