Indiana doesn't want me

Allen and Indiana lost me when they complained about getting a lower bowl than the Cats did in 2020 and then proceeded to lose the bowl game they did get. It pretty much went downhill from there and then he let Penix get away after he got hurt the following season..

Penix had season ending injuries in 4 straight seasons (‘18-‘21). He gave IU all he had on/off the field, graduated and needed a fresh start. No IU fan friends of mine begrudge him leaving. He’s a great kid and a great player. We knew that. At IU his last 2 years, the OL was not good. Penix Just couldn’t stay healthy at IU, in part, because Tom Allen kept around his OL coach buddy, who sucked, 2 years too long.

Kalen DeBoer, IU’s OC in ‘19 had the in with him, got him to Seattle and has made him a star at UW…He also made Ramsey and Penix look pretty good in his 1 season in Bloomington. There are a lot of IU fans who hope he wins the Heisman.
