…Just in shock at what we just witnessed? Not just tonight, but from the Minnesota game forward. Eight wins, including four straight (including Dub at Wiscy, Dub in final game at RF, and HAT)…and a hard-nosed bowl championship dub. This team was 1-11 last season, then all the controversy threatened to spiral the program. And now — this? HOW? I’m just stunned and incredibly proud. Major FOMO for those of you who could get to Vegas. Live it up in purple! Merry Christmas! Go ‘Cats!

Yes. Huge credit to Braun who shone under the spotlight, and to the team Fitz built for this season. Hiring Braun and picking up the transfers at WR and QB filled the big holes from the last couple seasons.
I said at the beginning of the year, Braun should be named head coach if he won ONE game.

We also need to credit Schill and Gregg. They really were key in bonding these players together. Rare case where total ineptitude actually helped.
Ben Bryant made a huge difference, helped along with Cam Johnson and AJ Henning. All grad transfers.
And the defense improved dramatically, with much/most of the credit for that going to Braun. The 4-2-5 defense was really kicking butt in the 2nd half of the season.
