Our KOR team is a complete disaster thus far. Granted, it's only two games but where is Jelani Roberts? He is a natural KOR guy. Moten seems uncomfortable if he isn't hesitant. And Anderson simply is NOT a blocker. Period.

I hope this unit isn't necessarily becoming the graveyard of backup running backs.

Moten looked awesome last year in the backfield but I guess Larkin outplayed him in practice. So is KOR a bone to at least put Moten on the field? With Jackson banged up a bit, I was hoping to see Moten pick up from where he left off last year.

I think it is time to give Jelani Roberts a shot back there. Seems like a no brainer to me, and I don't say that as a know it all because maybe Moten is a lot better than Roberts on KOR. I'm venting because the KOR did look Gosh Awful last week. Something is wrong and Fitz has to figure out what is going on.

I posed this exact question last week and the board conclusion was "Moten is fast too."

I still don't think he's the right fit back there. He's not getting to full speed fast enough.

Fast doesn't make the best KOR. Vault proved not to be that great of a RB when in tight places and lacked wiggle. Sutton was much better running the ball than Vault. It's not all about 'fast'. But when Vault's vision is expanded with space in front, he can make that first cut and be gone.

In similar fashion, Roberts is like a Rabbit in a box when presented with a box 8 directly in front of him. Even end sweeps havn't really been great with Roberts. But a guy like him with one quick cut can take it to the house on KOR.

Maybe the surprise change we will see, will by the Special Teams coach.

Everytime i see roberts on offense i already know where the ball is going. Hopefully the opposition hasnt picked up on this.

I erased my original intended post, which was a snide comment about Moten's performance.

Let's just say he looks uncomfortable and unprepared back there. Like a lot of his cohorts

I'd put Roberts and Long back there. Roberts is fast and Long hits like a truck. And if Long gets the ball, he has proven he knows what to do with it

My concern with the current KOR group is that the return man (Moten) seemed to run directly into the back of a large pack of blue and white jerseys. I thought the KOR specialist should be able to see ahead of him and change course quickly. Maybe it was the only available option to Moten at the time (I am not an expert having only returned kickoffs in high school many years ago) but I really saw no lateral movement during the KOR last week.

Long would be a great second guy back there. Long is a player that is more than capable anywhere except on the bench where Fitz has him. Doesnt make sense.

Long is on special teams and is used as a pass rush specialist. Come on.

Long should be back there on KOR. Even if he gets the ball, he knows what to do with it. Unless his previous injury has limited his playing time, it's a shame he isn't playing more. The guy is an absolute BEAST. After what I witnessed at Duke, it's shocking that this solid football player can't see many plays on this team. Our KOR team is awful. It's better to just let the ball bounce into the endzone and take it out on the 25.
