making his professional golf debut this weekend. He got a sponsor's exemption to play the Cleveland Open on the web.com tour and shot -1 in his first round looking to make his first pro cut. Yet another Pat Goss protege trying t make it on the tour. Go Jack!

Doc, he made the cut! Nice piece on him in the Daily Northwestern May 30. Seems like a very grounded young man. One big question raised in the article concerned his driving distance and i notice in the web.com stats for the first three rounds that his driving distance is averaging only 267. Has he got enuf game to make up for that?

Really bad 4th round will put him at the bottom of those who made the cut. Will get a small check and hopefully will have many more opportunities to improve.
