LAX loss to NC

Yes and no.

They outplayed us and legitimately beat us, but we were sliding all over the place and reactions were slow in the cold (yes, I know we play in the cold too).

The players act the same after a win or a loss, which I appreciate. They didn't quit either. They got blitzed in the first 20 minutes and could have easily given up. Instead they clawed through the rest of the game and if #7 puts in a free position, it's a one goal game with five minutes left.

Also, looks like we had one injury (player took herself out and didn't return so probably minor) which also disrupted things a bit. Not going to say who since God knows who reads the boards.

Let's see if this is the spark they needed against better competition.

This should tell you how sloppy conditions were if we couldn't maintain possession or take quality shots:

Draw controls: UNC 5, Northwestern 16

Nashville forecast

for tomorrow afternoon's game against Vandy: 56 degrees and sunny. (per the Weather Channel)
