I had a friend ask me about tOSU tickets and I told him at this point he would get the same pickings I would through the box office. His response was NU doesn't know when they're going on sale?? I checked nusports.com, there is absolutely no information (pricing/sale dates) for 2022 football (save for ST's). I called the ticket office and asked when single tickets going on sale and they said they don't know but if I were to call back in 2-3 weeks they should have an answer??

It's already July 21st and we have 3 home games in September. This is terrible service and marketing.

SMH....

NU’s ticket office is pretty much hot garbage.

Might be short of staff like it seems the rest of the world is. I'm not making excuses for then or anyone, just saying that may be the reason, but who knows?

Does anyone think the first three nonconference games are going to be sold out so there's some rush to get tickets now? There will be plenty available on the day of those games and I'm sure that any people interested are being told that. NU is trying to sell as many season tickets as possible before releasing them to the hordes of Wisconsin and Ohio State buyers. I had a friend who worked in NU's athletic administration tell me that season tickets are the name of the game in marketing so, no, there is nothing to criticize here.

I think if you want good seats for the Ohio State game, consider going to Ticketmaster or Stubhub now and buying on the secondary market.

seems like a repeatable process?? I agree that area is terrible and I have had many issues with the ticket office in the past.

I though a big part of the Phillips-Polisky regime had been ticket office staffing and growth. I can’t imagine that has been lost in 2 years.

Was that more PR than actuality?

I think the person that currently runs it was simply operational. Phillips-Polisky focused on growth and customer service via tickets reps (which is great). With those two gone not sure if anything changed but I still have my rep.

I think the ticket office operates on "strategic ambiguity" so that folks decide to buy season tickets.

If I am not mistaken, don't they offer additional single game tickets to season ticket holders before they release them to the public? I know I got additional Notre Dame tickets that year.

Maybe they are trying to get as many OSU and Wisconsin fans to buy up the remaining season tickets for as. long as possible because they are really affordable. Probably about as much as they would pay to go to one home game.

now that I am back in the Midwest, I plan to go to several (non Wisc/OSU) games, and don't feel any pressure to buy tickets.

Along these lines, a number of times (often just a couple of weeks before a game) I have called my rep when I needed a few extra tickets for some friends, and they've always been able to hook me up with good seats which have been donated by other ticketholders.

Supposedly the issue is that they are short staffed (as many organizations are after Covid) and I heard that at least the big games (WISC and dOSU) would not be available till about Aug 5th

I think COVID and its aftermath sort of screwed that up I mean 2020 was limited season and no real attendance and last year was a recovery year that went so so. So they likely lost a number of agents and this year they are adversely affected by it

My experience with the ticket office has been positive. My ticket rep (Kathleen) does a great job and I have had no issues.
