This is a pitch for the student-run NU crew team http://www.northwesterncrew.com/#about. If you have a friend or family member on the team you know that these kids work tirelessly, in the dead of winter, with very little recognition, to practice their sport. And they are terrific representatives of NU as well. Crew is a great lifetime sport, with a tradition in Philadelphia going back to Thomas Eakins.
