That said, I think the coaches had a plan that if they did not beat Duke they would move to Lausch against an FCS opponent and they stuck to it.
Lausch has improved each week.
I left the Indiana game feeling better about NU because IU is a likely 9 win team and NU was competitive. Last night proved the improvement was not a fluke.
Now the Cats have to win 3 of Purdue, Wisconsin, Iowa, Illinois and Michigan to go bowling. Hope is alive.
