Last year Jackson fumbled once in 333 touches, and in his career has lost only 4 of 6 fumbles in 933 touches. Overall, he has lost the ball on average once every 234 times he has had it. Darnell Autry and Damien Anderson had similar averages. Jackson follows in a great tradition at Northwestern in this area. Both he and the coaches deserve a lot of credit for this success. All I need to do to appreciate what this means is to think back to the 2014 Notre Dame game, the 2000 Michigan game, and the 1996 Wisconsin game to think of what Jackson's stats translate to in game outcome.
