None of the starters or second team scrimmaged. It was almost all freshmen, redshirt freshmen, and sophomores, along with some of the walk-ons. Moten looked very good, and defensive lineman Fred Wyatt spent a lot of time in the backfield. Green, Smith, and Yates took all the snaps at QB. Most of the first and second team players were not in pads. Best news was that the training staff did not have to work and no one was on crutches or had a cast on.

Rumor has it that Superback Jamie Taylor has a career ending injury.
