OT: baseball/softball tailgating?

my daughter's softball team is planning a team event at the upcoming UNL - NU game. Anyone know if tailgating is allowed beforehand? Just want to fire up the grill for some hotdogs for the girls...and maybe a few beers for the parents. Figured we'd be parking in the west lot.

Tailgating is permitted but I would suggest the East Lot for softball games. Much closer to stadium entrance.

Though I haven't been for a while, chances are good that you'll see the team's tailgate in the East lot...

Just don't put up any big signs for Coca-Cola, lest the neighbors complain.
