Nice crowd today. Here are my thoughts:

Great turnout for the youth clinic. Nice to see many area coaches invited and well attended.

It is run much better than previous years, NU views this as a marketing event and they delivered.

Lot's of energy on the field.

Saw a few Chicago news outlets.

Fitz talked to the fans, nice touch.

Our PA announcer still stinks, zero energy and monotone delivery.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I did not see Phillips. Perhaps he is at the final four?

Anyway, nice event and the family had a great time.

How did the QB's look?

I am by no means an expert, but the future is Thorson. I would also like to see an Alviti Thorson combo.

I read in one recap that we have very few healthy defensive lineman right now. What is the outlook for guys like Lancaster, Oxley, and Wyatt? We need depth at that position, particularly with McEvilly and Kuhar returning from injury. Are those backup guys ready to play? Losing Joraskie to retirement is tough, as it sounded like he had a bright future.
