For the first time in 2025, there is a Softball America Top 25 poll as we unveil the 2025 Preseason poll led by Florida.

Softball NU Wildcats also ranked in Top 25 in preseason ESPN Poll(#20) as well as preseason D1 poll (#19). However as mentioned previously UCLA ranked much higher (#6 and #4). Unlikely to win B1G but hopefully will be in the postseason tournament
