I'm afraid I have more bad news today -- I no longer think NU is going to land three-star WR Quayvon Skanes.
Skanes, who was supposed to visit tomorrow but moved it up a day because Coach Fitz is leaving town, says that he is now favoring UConn. He didn't realize that NU had just 8,000 undergrads, and he thinks that might be a little small. Plus, he calls himself a "chill" person and thinks UConn is a little more laid back than NU.
NU made a positive impression with all of the "life after football" aspects, but I think UConn is going to be the call.
