I took my 13-year old to the noon kickoff of Wizard yesterday at the refurbished Davis Theater in Chicago.

It was a display of performance talent, great directorship and remarkable production quality delivered in an aged setting that had been upgraded for the times rather than destroyed and replaced with something uber-fancy.

It was an incredible experience, far exceeding any similar three hours I spent watching an NU game this year. Go see it Saturday afternoon.
