Amazingly, Iowa will be the 4th top-30 team in Sagarin that we will face this year in 7 games. We will be Iowa's second. So, despite the fact that they are undefeated, we are a bit more battle-tested than them at this stage of the season.

Given Iowa's injuries, I am thinking more and more that if we can bounce back from Michigan and play near the level that we played of our previous 5 games (all shortcomings of those games aside) we win..As an aside, Sagarin has this game as a toss up (we win within the margin of our home field advantage).

Here is the full Sagarin schedule of each for anyone interested.

Iowa:

Illinois State (#74), W 31-14
Iowa State (#70), W 31-17
Pitt (#41) W 27-24
North Texas (#195) W 62-16
Wisconsin (#22) W 10-6
Illinois (#55) W 29-20

Us:

Stanford (#7) W 16-6
Eastern Illinois (#157) W 41-0
Duke (#28) W 19-10
Ball State (#114) W-24-19
Minnesota (#61) W 27-0
Michigan (#3) L 0-38

Sagarin is just now beginning to reflect a non biased sample size. Hopefully we define a positive outcome for NU that lifts all of our past opponents.
