NU is up to 30 in the way-too-early-to-be-relevant Sagarin ratings, just behind BYU and Illinois (!). Duke went up one slot to #36. The algorithm is clearly goofy this early in the season because it has MSU at 21 and OSU #2. Polls are like stats, they're for losers!

I think sagarin at this point still has a heavy influence from the prior season, which would explain OSU's lofty status but perhaps not MSU's relatively low position.

Doesn't explain how OSU is behind an Alabama team they beat last season though............
