The Teutonic giant from Lake Forest is taking his war implements to Stanford.

We had interest, but never offered. Anyone know why? I cannot imagine academics were an issue.

We just don't seem to have a lot of interest in the kids from Lake Forest Academy. There have been 4-5 athletes from there over the years and we didn't end up offering any of them. It might have something to do with how the Faith Ekakitie (sp?) went down a few years back. We had interest but ultimately did not offer because of academic profile. Ever since then, we have passed on recruiting kids from that school.

Sounds like we lost faith in LFA.

We're better off with guys from traditional powers like Stevenson, Libertyville and Loyola.

Those programs have and develop real talent. And they play a real schedule.

Not sure what the deal is with LFA football.
