I got the message today "Would you like to spread out the payment of your season ticket? Take advantage of a seven (7) month payment plan by clicking HERE to renew your season tickets today!"

Is this normal? Do they send this out to people when they don't renew after a while. I am still on the face about renewing (leaning towards not). If this is not normal, how far down are sales this year?

The tickets are expensive, and if you buy them and sell the games you can't go to, people basically call you a traitor because they are likely going to opposing fans. I am thinking of just buying single games.

1). Tickets are expensive.

2) Ticket sales are slow.
GEC,

Tickets per se are cheap: $150.00 per seat for five games in the north end zone. It’s the “$350.00” per seat contribution that makes it $100.00 per game.

I’d guess that the “contribution” for seats in the new stadium will start at $500.00 per, and rise with the yard marker:

$1000.00- $1500.00 extra for each 40-50 yard line seat?

They do that we’ll sell 1000 season tickets. It will be a totally empty stadium.

The question is do they care. Talked to another long time season ticket holder tonight that is thinking not renewing for this year as they jacked his prices pretty significantly to about $1300 each and the people he was in with were bailing after the price increase this year. Hard to say it but suddenly the Wrigley games are a better value than STs

I’ve not been an NU season ticket holder in many years, but did receive the very long questionnaire they sent out whenever that was, probably 3 years ago now. It was basically asking “how much are you willing to shell out for tickets with all these great amenities vs only limited amenities?” I remember at the time as I read on Re the ticket prices + fees + contributions, my eyes slowly widening, saying to myself “are these guys nuts?!?!”
Then telling my wife “after reading this, we’ll stick to buying 1 or 2 games/year.”

They sent something similar prior to the W-R redo and some of the prices they were talking about were absurd. Lo and behold when all was said and done W-R offers some mazing seats that don't require any donation. I'm sure it will be the same at RF.
