Listen, our WRs are bad so we're not in a position to refuse anybody... but yet another guy who works hard in the blocking game and is "getting more comfortable" in his primary job as a receiver isn't a needle mover. Iowa's passing game isn't the part of their team to emulate.

I mean I would too, but that's more about how bad everybody who isn't Kirtz and Henning is and less about Gill being a difference maker. "Modestly better than Frank Covey" doesn't get my heart pumping or score TDs.

It is what it is. Staff miscalculated when they failed to replace Gill and Tyus on the roster.

Dunno if it was a miscalculation or just lack of available and interested players at those positions within our very restrictive admissions window.
